Are you thinking about tearing out your old concrete, because you are tired of looking at the old, broken down slab of concrete outside of your home? Over time, it is common for concrete to begin to crack, crumble, and buckle, and these are all signs that you need to consider the services of a Colorado mudjacking company. You might be able to avoid tearing out the old concrete, by using mudjacking instead.
Rip-and-Repour Isn't the Only Solution
Just because your concrete is getting worn down, doesn't mean that you need to rip it out. This process is often referred to as "rip-and-repour" because the old concrete is completely removed, so that new concrete can be poured instead.
There are some situations where the concrete is very damaged, and it might make sense to go through the process of having the concrete torn out. But, in other situations, it might be more beneficial to repair the old concrete instead.
Colorado mudjacking is usually more cost effective, and it provides a stable concrete surface that is comparable to new concrete. The mudjacking process pumps gravel, concrete, and sand below the surface of the concrete slab, to provide a solid foundation and lift the slab back where it belongs. This base is much more sturdy than the previous dirt that was below.
If you have old and broken concrete, you should fix the problem as soon as possible! Here at Cascade Mudjacking, we can help you to decide on the best concrete repair option for your home. Call us at: (303) 840-4725
